Mort Sahl Biography
Morton Lyon Sahl (born May 11, 1928) is a Montreal-born comedian. His humor is based on current events, and many of his routines are drawn from the day's newspaper headlines.

Following the assassination of John F. Kennedy in 1963, Sahl aided the independent investigation of New Orleans, Louisiana District Attorney Jim Garrison, which linked the assissination to the Central Intelligence Agency, a finding critical of the Warren Report. As a result of this pursuit, Sahl's comedy took a back seat to his politics, and he fell out of favor with the press, media, and public for several years.

He was married to the uncredited dancer at the end of Woody Allen's "What's Up Tiger Lily(1966)?" - better known as the Playboy Playmate of the Month August 1964 – China Lee.
