Bernhard Langer Biography |
Bernhard Langer (born August 27, 1957 in Anhausen near Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany) is a professional German golfer.
Langer turned professional in 1972 and has won many events in Europe and America, among them The Masters in 1985 and 1993. He became member of the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2001. He is captain of the European Ryder Cup team in 2004.
Langer ist married to his wife Vikki Carol since 1984. They have got four children: Jackie (b. 1986), Stefan (b. 1990), Christina (b. 1993), and Jason (b. 2000). They are living in Langer's town of birth, Anhausen.
Langer is known to be a devout Christian. |
