Kareena Kapoor Biography |
Kareena Kapoor (born September 21, 1980) is an actress in Hindi films (also known as Bollywood). She is the granddaughter of Raj Kapoor (legendary actor in India) , daughter of Randhir Kapoor and sister of Karishma Kapoor (popular Bollywood actress).
Her first movie was Refugee released in 2000 with Abhishekh Bachhan. Other notable films she has acted in are Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
Kareena Kapoor is considered a loud-mouth gasconading actress, but yet still manages to have a lucrative career in Bollywood. Her fair skin, medium-light eyes, and hennaed hair makes her a favorite amongst the Indian audience. She is part Punjabi and part Sindhi. Her mother Babita and aunt Sadhana were both Bollywood actresses. Kareena is said to resemble a young Babita, with her full-figured body, and plump lips. Although Kareena is used as eye-candy in most of her films, she has ventured out to do a few serious roles; Asoka being one. |
