Sven Goran Eriksson Biography |
Sven Goran Eriksson (born May 2, 1948) is currently the manager of the English national football team. A Swede, Eriksson is the first foreigner to coach England's national team.
He has been a highly-regarded football coach for nearly two decades, first establishing his reputation in his native Sweden, before enjoying successes with club sides in Portugal and Italy. His most significant achievement as a club manager was to win the Italian Serie A title (the Scudetto) with Lazio in the 1999/2000 season — only the second time that the Roman club had won the Italian championship in their history.
He has recently come under fire due to an alleged affair with FA secretary Faria Alam.
